Administrator - Lighthouse Training and Development are currently recruiting an experienced Administrator to join our team based in Little Bealings near Woodbridge. Reporting to the Office Manager, key responsibilities are as follows:

• Supporting preparation of all materials for training workshops
• Liaising with clients and delegates regarding joining instructions and pre-course information
• Liaising with key client contacts and suppliers as required
• Working with external venues to make the necessary requirements for booking training rooms
• Answering the telephone and directing inbound calls appropriately
• Supporting Office Manager with the smooth running of the office - stationery, maintenance, consumables and general administration
• Supporting Directors and Consultants as required with client facing activity
• General administrative support as required to meet the needs of the business
• Maintaining delegate records ensuring accurate data collection and maintenance


Skills and attributes required:

• Experience within an administration role is required, ideally within a training environment although this is not essential
• Excellent organisational skills
• Articulate, with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work in a structured manner, follow processes and balance time and priorities
• Good IT skills, particularly in using basic Microsoft packages - Word / Excel / PowerPoint
• Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone and dealing with enquires
• Flexible and able to adapt working style to meet the needs of the business
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Willing to share views and ideas to support the growth of the business
• Able to work to strict deadlines and targets


This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at time of growth. On offer is a salary of £21000-£23000 per annum depending on experience. This is a Full Time role Monday to Friday, however we would be happy to consider applicants who would like to work 30 hours per week.
