Finance and Operations Administrator - Spider are pleased to be supporting a leading, global household products organisation in their search for Finance and Operations Administrator to be based in Hadleigh, near Ipswich.

As Finance and Operations Administrator you will be supporting the Finance Director with all aspects of the effective operation of the finance, IT and administration function.

Key functions will include:

• Working closely with the Finance Director to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters including contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurately manner.
• Meet and liaise with clients, suppliers, staff and other visitors, ensuring the Finance Director and the company is represented efficiently, professionally and where required confidentially.
• Support to the Global territories on behalf of the Finance Director as required, including financial analysis and IT support.
• Administrative tasks such as processing expenses, data management as well as maintaining the company notice boards and online information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Organise and attend meetings, taking minutes and noting action points where agreed.
• Coordinate support of systems issues with either internal colleagues or third party providers, ensuring satisfactory resolution
• Research and source software and equipment as required
• Provide cover for the PA to the MD as and when required.


The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills with ability to deal with confidential information or matters.
• Finance background with experience of computerised accounting systems.
• Experience in producing monthly accounts data
• Strong IT skills in particular in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Flexible in approach whilst striving for continual improvement
