Location: Fairham Business Park, Nottingham
Package: Basic annual salary up to £29,200 (dependent on experience), plus bonus & other flexible PLC company benefits
Hours: 40 hrs Monday-Friday Only (Shifts: 6:00am–2.30pm OR 1.30pm-10:00pm)

The Forklift/Bendi Driver Warehouse Operative Role
As a Forklift/Bendi Driver Warehouse Operative, you will become an integral part of our regional logistics team, playing a key role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include accepting deliveries from suppliers, picking, loading, and dispatching goods to customers, as well as conducting stock counts and maintaining high standards, focussed on customer fulfilment. This role involves a variety of warehouse-related duties, including forklift and bendi-truck & powered-pallet truck driving, across 40 hours per week (weekdays only).
 
Forklift/Bendi Driver Warehouse Operative - Key Responsibilities

  • Accept deliveries from suppliers and ensure goods are stored appropriately
  • Pick, load, and dispatch goods to customers in a timely manner
  • Operate various forklift/bendi/powered-pallet trucks to move stock within the warehouse
  • Process customer or supplier returns
  • Participate in stock counts when necessary
  • Maintain high standards of customer service to suppliers and customers
  • Work closely with the Sales office to ensure timely customer deliveries
  • Promote cooperation between departments and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to the Company’s ISO9001 and ISO14001 policies 

Forklift/Bendi Driver Warehouse Operative Role Requirements
We welcome applications from experienced warehouse/logistics operatives who must have either a counterbalance forklift or Bendi truck license (a Bendi conversion training can be provided if you don’t have this). You should enjoy working in a team environment, possess a flexible and positive work attitude, and have strong communication skills. Experience with warehouse/inventory management systems is also highly advantageous as is a strong appreciation of health & safety. The choice of fixed shifts available are either 6:00am–2.30pm OR 1.30pm-10:00pm (both Monday to Friday only).
