Salary – up to £39,500
With over 50 years expertise in their field, I am working with a leader in their field who are seeking for a Transport Planning Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
About you…
- Previous experience working a supervisory role within the transport sector.
- Possession of category C + E license
Reporting to the Directors you will…
- Overall responsibility to oversee and manage the distribution department
- Ensure the Routing and Scheduling of all vehicles
- Depot Management
- Work with HR regarding driver needs
- Monitor Drivers’ hours, Breaks, Tachographs
- Rota control, Time sheet analysis, daily checks etc.
- Ensure all transport misdemeanours are documented and investigated
- Ensure that your department communicates efficiently with other transport locations and liaise with sales teams regarding delivery schedules etc.
- Other adhoc duties
